TROY WEST - TOWARDS 200

If all goes to plan Williamstown Co-Captain Troy West will play his 200th senior game on Sunday 25th July against Frankston at Williamstown.

He will become only the fourth player in our club's 141 year history to reach such a milestone - Ray Smith 205, Saade Ghazi 204 and Tom Russell 200.

Guest speaker at the President's Luncheon on the day will be AFL Umpires Coach Jeff Gieschen. Jeff coached Troy West when he was Senior Coach at Western Australian club West Perth. Tickets are available at $35 per head.

Troy West played his junior football at Strathmore in the Essendon District League before playing with Footscray at Under 19 and Reserves level. Troy joined Williamstown in 1994 and in his 199 games he has kicked 22 goals and represented the VFL on two occasions. He has been Club Captain since 2000 and played in the 2003 Senior Premiership.
