What a beautiful and uplifting book.  One Voice tells the story of Christy Moore's affair with music, family and life. 

This frank unpretentious tale only confirms why this Irish legend has attracted  the most powerful of literary pieces (all documented in the book) and given them musical immortality. 

With lines such as  "What is it with people who go to the opera?  Why all the fur coats and tuxedos and jewellery-what is it?  We went to hear Pavarotti in the Royal Dublin Society and it was a right gathering-talk about fur coats and no knickers.  Corporate boxes, business boxes, dirty boxes. Yer man disappeared for a feed after every song. He took more bows  .....such palaver. ......I was exhausted watching...", are pearls in the recalcitrant journey that unfolds in One Voice.
